ABOUT
PACE HOUSTON
PACE Houston (Partnerships Advancing Children’s Excellence) recognizes that children and youth are too often placed outside of their homes and communities while leaving behind family, friends, schools, churches, homes, and support systems. PACE Houston aspires to be an emergency or residential shelter for children ages 5 years to 17 years old. PACE Houston serves children in out-of-home-placement, crisis, traumatic experiences, and children who are moderate and specialized LOC and who exhibit various mental health diagnoses. Our program is designed to provide an environment in which children feel safe, respected, and cared for; while promoting positive outcomes for children and youth. We strive to improve the process of transition and quality of care for the children we serve.
